What Actually Happens in a MEM Session?

Simple, private, and surprisingly gentle — here is what happens in a Mace Energy Method session and why it works differently from anything you may have tried before.

The Starting Point

You Will Not Have to Tell Your Story

The Mace Energy Method is specifically designed to be non-disclosing. You are not required to share personal details, explain your history, or describe what happened to you. You do not have to tell a story to experience a result.

Most therapeutic approaches ask you to talk — to describe what happened, why it hurt, and how it made you feel. Many people find this approach exhausting, re-traumatising, or simply ineffective after years of effort. MEM works directly with the feeling energetically, not the story intellectually.


Session Structure

What Happens Step by Step

  1. Identify the focus area

    Together we identify the area of life you want to address — anxiety, a relationship pattern, low confidence, a recurring fear, or anything that feels stuck. You do not need to explain the full story behind it.
  2. Notice the feeling

    Your practitioner guides you to gently place your attention on the issue. Whatever feeling naturally arises is noted — not analysed, not discussed. It simply serves as a reference point for the work to follow.
  3. Guided mental exercises

    Using simple, unvoiced mental exercises, you work with the feeling energetically. No speaking is required. Your practitioner guides you quietly through each step of the procedure.
  4. Shift and release

    Most people notice a tangible shift during the session — a lightening, a sense of distance from the issue, or simply feeling different about something that previously felt very heavy. This is the energetic pattern releasing.
  5. Check in and close

    We gently review what shifted and ensure you feel grounded and well before closing. You are in control throughout, and sessions move only as fast as you are comfortable with.

The most common feedback after a MEM session: not having to relive painful experiences is, in itself, a profound relief.

Practicalities

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

Many people experience meaningful, lasting change in a single session. For complex or deeply layered issues, additional sessions may address related emotional patterns. Once a Negative Identity is dis-created, it does not return. Sessions can be conducted in person or remotely by phone or video call.
